Hi everyone

Just an update- bio was on the 28th June 2021. Hadn't heard anything from the HO so I got my MP involved and they contacted the HO. The same day my application status changed to decided. I called and emailed UKVI to confirm and yes I was told that a decision has been made on the application on 6th Jan 2022.

I'm waiting to receive a collection email from VFS, it been a week since they made a decision. Please could anyone advise, how long now until VFS contact me for collection? They have the passport, I submitted it on the day of biometrics.

My bio was 23rd June Without passport sumittion
Passport submitted on 26th Oct
and escalated several times and no response.
I rang Ukvi on Tuesday the case was opened
Yesterday I emailed them again and they said the case is closed meaning they don’t need any documents ect and need to wait for a email to say it’s been decided.

Bio date 26 July 2021 Islamabad Pakistan
Without submitting the passport.
17 August 2021 received an email ( your application has been assessed please submit your passport).
Passport submitted 19 August 2021.
Escalated it a few times nothing meaningful.
14 December 2021 decided to ask help from my local MP and sent him an email asking for help.
15 December 2021 received an from the office of the MP saying that she was asked to submit her passport to VFS and they have not received it yet.
I emailed back and attached the receipt and waited, heard nothing back for almost 4 weeks.
12 January 2022 I emailed my MP again and asked for help.
13 January 2022 received an email from the office of the MP ( I called the home office again for you, UKVI can not locate your wife's the passport.
I don't know what to do.
Is anyone else been in this situation.

Hi, no not yet. I'm still waiting to be contacted by VAC Islamabad for collection. I called UKVI they advised that it could take between 5-10 working days.

Hi, no not yet. I'm still waiting to be contacted by VAC Islamabad for collection. I called UKVI they advised that it could take between 5-10 working days.

Vfs islamabad have their contact number online. Maybe try calling them and ask yhey might have your passport ready with visa?

My case has been closed ‘awaiting decision’
Just waiting for them to email when the decision has been made so then we can collect the passport.

How the contact you for collection your passport?

I first received an email and sms from VFS to say that they have received the application at the VAC- this was on Friday 21st Jan.

Then second email from VAC Gerrys Islamabad received today- 24th Jan to say that passport is ready for collection. Collected on the same day.

They usually send collection email on the same day or next working day. In my case we received the email on a Friday so had to wait until Monday (next working day) for the collection email.

Hello everyone, I have been reading all your comments for so many months now. Congratulations to everyone who has received their visas. I applied for my husband visa with 2 dependant children in July. It has been 6months I am waiting. We had a interview in Nov and I was thinking would hear back by now. I called them and they escalated then I called again after 15days and said escalate again. Please pray for me. My solicitor is saying to wait as we received another email saying decision awaiting and will get back soon.

That's good news brother Inshallah visa is already done don't worry just collect passport today my partner received passport and Alhamdulillah ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ visa is done after long time we receive same collection email
