Lost BRP card

Hello, I am very upset that I have lost my BRP card. I went to do my PCR test at NHS test centre where I took my passport and brp card. I think somehow the card slipped from the passport and fell off. I went to the center next day when I realized that the card was missing but didn't find it.
Is there a charge for card replacement? Can the charges be waived off because of the covid hardship?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
