Evidence of shared financial responsibilities

Dear all

My Vietnamese wife is applying for her spouse visa from Vietnam. One of the documents she needs to submit with her application is evidence of shared financial responsibilities with me. Can we therefore use the payment receipts I have when I am sending her money as such evidence? We have a son who stays with her in Vietnam so I regularly send my wife money to cover the childcare costs (food, healthcare, etc.). She is staying in my family's house and my parents pay all the utilities.

Who asked your wife for this? There is no such requirement for her.

She could submit proof of your financial support though as evidence of your subsisting relationship.
