Hi,
This is for a friend whose husband suddenly died last month. She has 6 years old kid. she was on a spouse visa...so under what category she should apply now.

Can you please let me know when the child becomes 7 years the mother can apply for ILR through this?

If I am not wrong then she also has an option to apply with her British born child while he becomes 7 years old next year. Please let me know if I am wrong.

This is not ilr though. It is a 10 year route (4 X 2.5 years visas) FLR FP visa route.

She can even apply for parent route now as the child is British

The 7 year child route is for non British children and their parents.
