CoS work date and actual start date

Hey,

I've just received my Cos few days back and now i'm about to apply for my Tier 2 visa. My employer listed "14th February 2022" as my start date on the CoS. However, I will be unable to apply for my visa before this date because i still to get my TB test done.

Would it impact my visa in anyway? or is it safer to ask my employee to push the date forward and then apply for my visa?

Apply for your visa and inform your sponsor that there will be some delay before you can take up your post. Explain the reason and keep them updated during the visa process.

Thanks for your reply! i've already informed my sponsor and they're okay with it.
I was just worried if it would raise any flags for the home office when i apply my visa after the "work start date" mentioned in the CoS
