Dependent visa duration query

Hi,
I got 5 years skilled worker visa and BRis issued till 31 dec 2024.now I need to process my dependents visas. Am I allowed to create dependents visa application for 3 years? After completiion of 3 yrs, I will create visa application again for rest of the 2 years. I don't want to process their 5 years visa due to money constraints.

There is no choice - your dependants' visas will have the same validity as your visa, i.e. to Dec 2024 The visa fee will be what is applicable for up to 3 years. IHS will be for 3 years
