Proof of relationship UK standard visitor visa

Hello guys, if you are sponsoring a visa, what proof or relationship do we need to provide for your parents? British naturalized Citizen trying to sponsor Indian parents for visit visa. Is this mandatory?

I am not sure about India but in Pakistan, you can a family registration certificate issue by the govt. that you can attach with the visa application.

I am sure other people who've been in the same situation as you will have a better answer.
