Hi,

I sincerely suggest that you need not go through any consultants to get your Tier1 visa.

thats because, the only work that the visa consultants will do for you is that they will fill up the Tier1 application form !
You want to give a consultant 50,000 rupees to fill up an application form isnt it ?

Tier1 visa is very simple and straight forward.
There are a standard set of documents that you will need to supply and one application form to fill up.
So I suggest that you go through the discussion threads in this forum and you should be good to go for Tier1. Please dont waste money on any consultancy when there is no value add from them.

I did the same mistake and that is the reason that I am suggesting otherwise to you.

U can do it alone! just study Tier 1 (General) of the points-based system - policy guidance 4-5 times, that too carefully and raise questions wherever you have doubt.

Previous Earnings = 45 points

Masters Degree = 35 points

Total = 80 points

And your maintence is enough also from my calculations (250,000INR = £3254) and thats without subjecting it to the 5.3 conversion!

But I'd get a second opinion just to be safe. I am after all a random person on a forum. :wink:

Go to the self assessment tool present on UKBA website, and enter all your details, that will give you a report.

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/pointscalculator

This is the tool which is used to determine your qualification for Tier1
