Check your spam email folder, the visa issued email is delivered in my junk folder and I noticed it by coincidence yesterday.

That's pretty quick. My mother had her biometrics done on the 25 Jan but there's no update since.

Did you apply for a priority service?

No, there's nothing in spam. At what time (PST) did you get the issued email? Just trying to work out if it was early morning or late.

Perfect. Thanks.

In that case, I'll keep an eye on my email as well. We're 4 weeks tomorrow and as per the UKVI website, it's taking 6 weeks on avg so fingers crossed, we'll get a response soon.

My parents received “issued” email in junk/spam folder. I would encourage you to check junk folder on daily basis

Did you put yourself as one a sponsor as well? If yes, then did the Embassy ever contact you to verify the details?

My father applied on 8th Feb and biometrics was submitted on 14th Feb (from Islamabad). The VISA issued email from UKVI is received on 22nd Feb. So 2 weeks time after application submission.

It seems like UKVI is processing visit VISA applications faster now.
From which city you applied the visa?

My timeline is
23rd jan form submission
3rd feb biometric vfs lahore
18th feb received issued mail

But im not getting passport pickup mail

I have just received the passport collection email today, but received no “visa decision made” email from the embassy. Checked spam folder as well.

Applied on 29th Dec. Will update on the timeline thread after collecting passports.

My father has received passport collection email today (25th Feb), and passport collected with approved VISA. Total 17 days from application submission to passport collection.

Feeling very lucky that they have processed application so fast.

Note that latest trends are showing not every applicant is receiving decision made/visa issued email from embassy. Two cases in the last week including myself on visa timeline thread where no decision made/visa issued email was received, so you may receive passport collection email directly.

It's been nearly 6 weeks and we haven't heard anything so I've contacted UKVI to request a status update. Fingers crossed they'll get back to us within 5 days as stated.

I put myself as UK Sponsor for my parents VISA application, the UKVI had contacted me for 1st application (not for applications which are made after that). There was interview as well 1st time.

Not sure about recent trend, if they still do interviews and contact UK sponsors for 1st application.

Hi Guy's i just got a email saying my mom visa is rejected.
You have applied for a leave to enter to visit the UK for 2 months 6 days.
 I must take into account your personal and economic circumstances when coming to
my decision. It is your responsibility to demonstrate that your personal circumstances
are such that if granted leave to enter, you will comply with all of the conditions
attached to any such leave and that you will leave the UK on completion of the
proposed visit.
 I have considered the information you have provided about your personal and
economic circumstances. You state that you are unemployed and have savings of
£3500. However the documents you have provided do not demonstrate this. While I
note you have provided your husband’s bank statement this does not demonstrate
your circumstances nor does it demonstrate the source of your funds. Therefore I am
not satisfied that your circumstances are as stated.
 You state you intend to spend £1500 and that your son will spend £800 towards the
cost of your visit to the UK. However the documents you have provided do not
demonstrate that you have access to these funds. Therefore I am not satisfied that
you have sufficient funds for your travel to the UK at this time.
 In light of the above I am not satisfied as to your intentions in wishing to travel to the
UK now. I am not satisfied that you genuinely intend a short visit only to the UK and
that you will leave the UK at the end of the visit. Furthermore, I am not satisfied that
you will be able to maintain and accommodate yourself adequately in the UK or meet
the costs of your return or onward journey from the UK. Your application is therefore
refused under Paragraph.
Any idea what shall i do.
By the way they are saying she provide husband bank statement ( which is not correct).
I provide joint statements of mine and my mom.
Any idea what shall i do next.
Thanks in advance

I don't think you can make an appeal on visit visa decisions anymore.

As for the statement, did you provide a sponsorship declaration form to explicitly mention of the support?

I have applied for my mother's visa and along with my father's and my bank statements, I have also included a cover letter as well as sponsorship declaration to confirm how my mother is supported in the home country.

My mother had her biometric done on 25 Jan and we're still awaiting a decision.

Yes i did mention that i will be supporting along with sponsor letter.
My question is that how case worker is saying i provide my dad bank statement. Me and my mom have a joint account. So i provide that.
Seems like he must be drunk.
I mean not to appeal but i should have a right to tell how he saying its my dad bank statement when clearly says mine and my mom name.
Is there any email or landline number to raise that issue ?

Hi, Sorry to hear about visa refusal. I can understand the pain. My father and mother VISA was also refused initially and we had to send fresh application.

The only easy way is to send a fresh application and explain the refusal points. New application costs £95 but other ways are too expensive and there is no guarantee about positive results.
