Is a sponsorship letter needed for an FLR?

Hi,

With the initial spouse visa application I provided a sponsorship letter to say my wife could live with me. Do I need to provide this again for the extension of the visa?

Please can someone also clarify when I own my own house, is land registry the only item needed in regards to property or do I need to prepare a letter to say my Mrs can live with me?
