Certified birth certificate now required for naturalisation application?

Post by lxk » Wed Mar 09, 2022 2:09 pm

There is a new naturalisation application form CTZ3 - Version 6.4 Mar 2022.
On Page 2 "The following documentation must be provided with all applications" it has an additional paragraph as follows -
"3. A certified copy of your original civil birth certificate, and a copy of a translation into English if the certificate is in a language other than English or Irish."
Previously I think that just a photocopy of the birth certificate was sufficient.
Has anyone spotted any other changes in the application form?

They always wanted a certified one as far as I remember, but in January they put it down below on page 6 or so, making it more confusing. If they returned it back at the top - for good I'd say.
