Sponsor documents for visitor visa

Hello all
I am sponsoring the visit for my in-laws and applying for their visit visa.
As we will upload all the documents prior to biometric appointment in Delhi, I was wondering whether I need to send the original documents to them via post to be taken along for the appointment?
Or a scanned uploaded copy should be good enough.

Any helpful suggestion be much appreciated.
