UK Visa App (IDV)

i am a bit confused about the IDV app, do i wait 7 working days from when i submit my application to find out if i am eligible or do i wait 7 working days after i create an account with ukvcas to find out if i am eligible to use the app ?

I submitted my wife application today i am a bit confused to link my account with UKVCAS.Can you please help me to clarify

1.do i need to wait 7 days after submitting my application for registering for IDV
2.should i link my account and wait for IDV email from UKVI
Please let me know

You will be contacted on eligibility whether to use IDV app or book UKVCAS
