I assume you have earned 18,600 during the last 12 months from the date of the application? If this is the case, everything you have approved above is fine but you do not need P45 although p60 can be helpful to show income earned during the last 12 months but it is also an optional document.Aaron12333 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 18, 2022 5:32 pmHi all,
We are applying for a UK visa on 1st March 2022 and would like to clarify the financial evidence that I will be providing.
My situation (I am not the applicant, but we will rely on my income to satisfy the financial threshold):
- I have been employed by my current employer from Nov 2021 to present, permanent, salaried employment. I was previously in a similar role, i.e., permanent, salaried.
- Pay slips are issued monthly for the month. Period is not expressly mentioned, just “tax period 10”, etc.
- Current salary is £80k, was £70k at my prior firm.
I would like to apply with the following:
- 12 months of payslips (March 2021 – February 2022) – latest payslip will be dated 25th February 2022.
- Due to the timing of my move, I was not paid in November 2021, so the November pay accrued
was paid in the December 2021 payroll.
- 12 months of corresponding bank statements.
- Employment letters from both firms (they confirm employment dates, permanent status and salary level)
- Employment contracts from both firms (signed).
- P60 for April 2020-2021 tax year OPTIONAL
- P45 from prior employer (Dated November 2021). NOT REQUIRED
Can you kindly confirm if I am providing all documents required, or if I should be adding additional documents?
Thank you for your help!

How about the number of payslips and the period it covers? All 6 payslips show a salary well above the threshold
