Skilled Worker Visa Dependent child

Post by jaango123 » Wed Mar 23, 2022 5:21 pm

I am now in the UK on Student tier 4 dependent visa.

My employer is ready to process the skilled worker visa with the below link for me and my dependents

https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... led-worker

1) My child is still in India, so how do i include him as well in this application - Please suggest? Me and my spouse(who is a student currently) are in the uk and the above link is only for application from inside uk.
2) Will it be a problem if my spouse changes from student visa to skilled visa dependent of me? Can she complete studies?

1. Apply for child after your visa is granted.

2. No issue.

Hi,

Today I got an update that my application is successful from the home office.

1) Can I apply for my childs visa now or do I need to wait for my BRP?
2) Does my spouse need to inform the university about this change?

1. You can apply now.
2. Yes if she switches visa. Note that it is not compulsory for her to switch to SW dep visa.
