Defined CoS Processing Delay

Post by 9elizabeth » Tue Feb 15, 2022 2:43 pm

Hello,
I am working for a company and have been appointed as the level 1 contact for SMS. I had applied on behalf of the company Defined CoS (appointed a new candidate from India) through SMS on Feb 1st 2022. On Feb 3rd, I received an email asking for more information, which was provided the same day. I have not heard anything from UKVI since then. This is our first application as CoS.
Is there anybody who know how long does it take for them to process the Defined CoS.

Admins: I searched through the forum but did not find the timeline for employers point of view, hence thought of posting it here.

Standard timeframe is within 20 working days after providing more info. But in some circumstances can be much longer than that

Just to provide update, I am still waiting to hear from HO. Applied on Feb 03 for Defined CoS and today is March 18, 2022 still waiting for their decision. Has there been anybody else here in the same boat??

Thanks

It's a bit embarrassing, I don't know the exact timing as my contact in my future company wouldn't respond to me. All I know is I got job offer in Jan 27, told cos was filed in Feb 20 and granted on March 29. You can imagine I have been through long frustrating times just to get cos. It has understandably been with the HO being overburdened by the Ukraine crisis than anything else though. I hope you'll get yours soon.
