FLR-FP can be switched to ILR?

Post by sam20 » Tue Apr 26, 2022 2:47 am

Hello,
My wife came over in Aug 2012 as a dependant when I was on PSW visa.
Timeline is as follows:
2014 Entrepreneur visa
2017 Extension application
2018 (During Extension application) I varied to ILR on 10 years route. I got ILR in Nov 2018.
2019 till Aug I did not hear anything for my wife. Upon consulting from this platform I applied for FLR-FP. Which was received later that year. Ent Extension application fee was also refunded.
Now we are going to apply for first extension of FLR-FP next month.

The question is, can we apply for her ILR in Aug 2022? As this marks her 10 years or we need to complete 10 years on FLR-FP now?
Meanwhile myself and all the kids have become nationals (if that can help her applications in any way).
Thanks

Thankyou for replying.
So what we are going to do is to apply FLR-FP Extension in May and ILR in Aug. Is it okay?
Because we have a 74 days gap in completing her 10 years if we go direct.
