6145 Care Assistant - 5 years or 3 years

Dear All,

Is care assistant (SOC 6145) visa issues 5 years ? Can you please let me know.

Received CoS as below, I understand that the care assistant visa is 5 years. Maye I was wrong but with experts to confirm.

CoS issued on 23rd April 2022
Work Start date: 18th May 2022
Work End date: 17th May 2025
Visa Period: 3 year

The employer ready to change the end date on the SMS but he is not sure it is 3 years or 5 years.

It is totally up to the employer how long they want to sponsor for you. Some employers like to have an initial 3 year and extend for another 2 years, to avoid losing fees in case the employee leaves the company earlier.

Can care assistant visa give 5 years without a break? Like 6th June 2022 to 5th June 2027?
