Well every case is different..it took 2 months for me to get certificate after paying fees and sending declaration..corkms wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 8:48 amAfter initially applying for naturalisation in 2021 and largely feeling like a ship at sea, I've only just discovered this forum and feel a bit of comfort knowing that countless other people have been through the same set of experiences.
I count myself lucky, because last week I received a brown envelope in the post and quickly paid the €950 and returned my certified declaration by post on the same day.
One question I have that I haven't seen too much written about here is, how long has it taken people to receive their Naturalisation Certificates after paying their fees and confirming the delivery of their declarations?
The letter indicated that it could take upto 6 weeks. Is this timeframe accurate?
8 weeks, that's a dose. Do you remember how many weeks it took for the online form to move from "Submitted" to "Application Submission Complete" on the inisonline system (https://inisonline.jahs.ie/)?Shelter wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 2:18 pmWell every case is different..it took 2 months for me to get certificate after paying fees and sending declaration..corkms wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 8:48 amAfter initially applying for naturalisation in 2021 and largely feeling like a ship at sea, I've only just discovered this forum and feel a bit of comfort knowing that countless other people have been through the same set of experiences.

Thanks for the helpful info. It’s good to know how long we should sit tight for. I’ll update this thread when I know more about what’s happening with my cert too.Shelter wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 8:39 pmIt took 3 weeks from submitted to completedcorkms wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 4:32 pm8 weeks, that's a dose. Need to ask you something, was the cetificate delivery registered? I mean, did you guys have to sign when receiving this? I am doing some maths as I will be on holidays and I may not be in the house by the time it gets delivered so I am worry if I need to sign it when this is delivered.
Thanks

FINALLY, Certificated Received on Friday. My journey of citizenship is over. Passport application posted. I've already documents and applied for passport online two weeks before i received my certificate of naturalisation. So i only insert my certificate in the envelope and posted to passport office same day i received my naturalisation certificate. This is the same why my spouse did her own and received her passport. I wish everyone good luck.

Congratulations! James, can I ask how long after you submitted your E-Vetting application did you hear the next bit of correspondence? I submitted my E-Vetting application at the end of June and on 29th June it said that the vetting application was complete. I haven't heard anything from anybody since then!james2005 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 07, 2022 11:56 am

Hi, there are many people who’s vetting were completed in the month of March to may-22. Still no correspondence afterwards. Hard to predict the pattern. Hope it helps.chippopickle wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 10:49 amCongratulations! James, can I ask how long after you submitted your E-Vetting application did you hear the next bit of correspondence? I read in this forum that other people got that and later on realized that the 2-3 days statement was wrong, apparently because of a system error. The waiting time is a lot longer than that, so not to worryiceice304 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 8:37 amCould someone please comment: I paid fee for my child’s naturalisation on 25/6/22, got email reply on 22/7/22 that fee is processed and a certificate will be issued and will take 2-3 days to be delivered by An Post registered post (tracking number N/A).
I have not yet received the certificate.
I sent them an email but as all know there is no reply.
Is this a common theme?
Is your application moved to completed state now?Snowflake2050 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 9:10 pmMy citizenship fee was paid on the 4th of July and it hasn't even been processed yet. I would have thought it would be processed by now. Any idea as to why it could be taking so long?
Yes the fee was finally processed yesterday. After 5 weeks. Hopefully cert won't be too long now.sunnyirl20 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 12:07 pmIs your application moved to completed state now?Snowflake2050 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 9:10 pmMy citizenship fee was paid on the 4th of July and it hasn't even been processed yet.
