Deportation

Post by hirolav864 » Wed May 04, 2022 5:13 pm

Hi, asking for a friend, is it likely that a spouse visa will be approved for someone who has been deported from the UK in the past?

Not sure if the other half is telling the full story of their background...

You or or better still the person asking needs to provide some background to this, immigration history etc.
Otherwise it's unlikely anyone can give an answer - not a yes or no issue ...
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
Please do not send me private messages asking for advice.

Something like this would almost certainly be considered a complex case.

Your friend should consult a qualified immigration advisor.

There is not much detail to go on. Provide more information under what circumstances, how long ago n voluntary departure or not?
