Payslips - new job within 6 months

Post by sohail111 » Sun May 08, 2022 7:46 am

Hi,
Just a quick question, as I am applying for the spouse extension visa.
In terms of the 6 months of payslips required, via the employed route.

What happens if I change job within the 6-months? It will still meet the threshold but is this just something to add in the cover note or is it more complicated like that? I have a further 6 months of payslips to show as appendix but dont think its necessary here.

It shouldn't be an issue if the requirement was met at the date of the application.

Sorry il add an illustration

June - job 1 over 20k
July - job 1 over 20k
Aug - moved to job 2 over 20k
Sep - job 2 over 20k
Oct - job 2 over 20k
Nov - job 2 over 20k
Dec when application is due for renewal, so 6 prior month payslips

The only worry is changing jobs in august , but regardless still able to meet the financial requirement

FLR (M) with new job

Post by sohail111 » Fri May 13, 2022 9:03 am

Hi quick question to clarify:

I can meet the financial requirement with 6 months alone whilst changing jobs, the rules state you are allowed to give up to the last 2 years and work out the mean average but I can do this with 6-9 months..

Will this be acceptable? I find that it may not provide any benefit to show the 10-24 months as I still meet the requirement without it. Obviously I have nothing to hide but it means less paperwork (which is not due for renewal yet) just a thought which occurred to me.

Thanks

If you change jobs in August, you will fall under category B.

You wil need to provide payslips covering the periods of 12 months if you switched jobs.

If you are salaried, you just need to mulply your recent payslip x 12 assuming you are salaried plus if you are paid monthly. You are over complicating matters
