VFS Global biometric appointment "something went wrong" error message

Hi,

I really hope someone can help me here...

Applied online for UK visit visa for parents in Pakistan and at the end of the application got redirected to VFS Global website to be able to book the biometrics appointment.

Login is successful but after selecting the centre, when we click 'continue' the website keeps on giving an error message at the top left saying "something went wrong, please try again later"

Steps already tried for Troubleshooting
- Log out from the website
- Clear the Cache
- Clear the cookies
- Clear the browsing history
- Restart the system
- Waited several hours in between attempts
- Tried to use Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge browser
- Tried different laptop
- Tried a mobile device
- Tried different times of the day
- Tried Incognito Mode in the browser

It's driving me mad!

Are we missing a trick here? Anyone has had this issue before?

Will really appreciate help.

Hi

Apparently the error was related to lack of availability of appointments, as soon as the appointments became available the error disappeared.

Try selecting different centres, you may find that where there is availability it will work.

Keep trying for a few days, it will eventually work. If still doesn't work, give VFS a call they will give you an email address to raise the complaint.
