I got the exact same email today.
My spouses bio was on the 8th February.
Hopefully it doesn’t take another 12 weeks.

We had an appointment in VFS today and there was a woman she got visa in 2.5 months. I think some people are getting early and some are late because if caseworker send an enquiry to let say HR for employment confirmation it all depends when HR reply back and this case fille progress to next stage. I cant think of any other reason. For some people they also do criminal record check of applicant in their home country and that could also delay the things, specially if someone lives at multiple addressess. So in a nutshell each applicant has its own merits and its not apples for apples.

Exactly...I agree with you.some people have more straight applications that's y gets visa more quickly...some works with renowned companies don't need much investigations....some have less switching of jobs....that's in my opinion...May b em wrong....anyway best of luck for everyone...May ALLAH help us all

hello
Bio date: 20 Dec from Lhr, Pak
Received email on 10th and 11th March same email saying
Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Your visa application has been received and is under consideration. We aim to process non settlement applications within 15 working days (unless you have opted for the Priority Visa service), and settlement applications within 60 working days.
Unfortunately, we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.
Does it mean the application is not straightforward? I am confused because in the email it does not say anywhere that it is NOT straightforward.
I also made a complaint on 11 April and got reply on 10th May
"your application is in under active consideration and you will be notified once the decision is reached"
So confused. Someone is going through similar situation?

Hey, I've applied on 12th December and I got the same email. No no your application is straightforward. It doesn't mention anything about that. It's just that they've changed the decision making time to 24 weeks now. Which is 120 working days. It used to be 12 week which is 60 Working days. Don't worry InshaaAllah you'll hear back soon

When was your bio? I am also waiting since 5 months now. Same old reply. I am so sick and tired to this waiting now. I feel so helpless. I have called them. Emailed them so many times. I tried to escalate through my MP but nothing till now. What should we do now? So sick of this!

My bio date was 12 December 2021 from Dubai. I swear I feel the same. I've also reached out to the MP but no response from his side yet. Keeping in mind the upcoming bank holidays, My 120 working days complete on 9th June. But my 24 weeks will be over this week. I hope I get a response before that. I see applicants applied on Jan, Feb, March getting their visas issued also some mid January applicants. My case is straightforward they're still just torturing us! Just hoping for the best InshaaAllah

I emailed them this morning and i got this reply:
"Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre.
With regards to your enquiry about the status of your application, our records indicate that a decision has been made on your application. We cannot discuss the outcome of your application on-line or by telephone.
Please allow 10 working days for the visa application centre to contact you in regards to collection or delivery of your passport.
We strongly recommend that you do not buy a non-refundable, non-flexible ticket to the UK, until your visa application has been approved and you have received your documents."
