Has anyone received an invite for June 2022 ceremony

Post by Kevin_hans » Mon May 23, 2022 6:32 pm

Hey Fellows,
I got my approval last month and sent back Declaration of Fidelity, still waiting on Certificate though. Just wondering if they will send me a certificate or an invite to ceremony. Is anyone in the same situation and has received either?

Thanks,

Have they processed your fee payment?
It's been 4 weeks and they haven't done it for me. I reckon they are busy with prep for ceremony which may delay things for the likes of us :(

I’m in the same boat. I got the approval on 26th April, paid the fee the same day. It still hasn’t been processed and it looks like it’s stuck in the “Submitted” tab on the INIS portal.

It really feels like they are now prioritizing the applications that need to attend the ceremony.

Hi,

I received the approval letter on the 16th of May. Filled out the online form with a passport picture and scanned copy of the IRP. Paid the 950 euros fee. The 19th of May I received an email saying they processed the payment.

When you say Declaration of Fidelity you mean the online form with the pictures requested and the fee? Since I did not send anythyng by post.

Declaration of Fidelity was a form to be witnessed by solicitor or a peace commissioner and sent back by post. It was a way around attending ceremony however since last few weeks they have changed the process and removed the option of not attending ceremonies.

Exactly the same situation here. Even the date is the same actually. I'm moving house soon too, so I hope the cert is sent in the next couple weeks.

It seems like it. Got my approval 13th May, made my payment on 16th n it was processed on 18th.

Hoping to get an invitation.

Hey @Nerdanel, any updates on your side of things? Nothing here yet. Just sitting pretty on the "Submitted" bucket still.

That letter you received last week was after the letter where you had to fill out the online form and pay the 950 fee?

Did you have a choice to select which ceremony you attended? Or were you given a specific time?

Came here to see if anyone has actually received their invitation yet. I got my letter to pay the €950, etc on May 13. Submitted everything online on May 14. Got an email saying my fee was processed on May 26 and on inis online it says "Application Submission Complete."

But still no invitation to the June 20 Ceremony. :(

I'm traveling June 12-17, coming back early in anticipation of the ceremony but really hoping to know for sure soon to make arrangements for Killarney.

I'm in the same boat. I went ahead and booked accommodation in Killarney anyway. Can't believe there are no invites yet for an event only 17 days away.

I wonder if it's going to be postal invites or email or both

They are cutting it fine! Did they give any hint as to whether you should expect an invite yourself Raja or was it as vague as ever?

I got my approval letter on 14th of April (dated 31.3.21). i payed and submitted all the documents on the 15 of April. Got an update email on 5th May that the fee was processed. nothing since.

When i got the letter first it said if you submitt all documents within 4 weeks you wont need to attend the ceremony in person. I think they might have changed their mind.

Yo

It was a generic response stating that ‘invitations’ will be issued in coming days.

So all of us I suppose those got recent approvals should be getting bulk invitations in coming days.

We are all the same waiting for the final invite. I got the processed fee on the 19th of May and nothing since.

I also sent an email asking when are they going to send the invite and no answer yet.

Im in the same boat. Received approval letter on 17 may and fee processed on 20th. Didn't receive any invitation letter yet.. its bit unrealistic expectation from dept of justice to expect people to be available without any confirmation in advance. Even approval letter doesnt have any issue/written date. Wonder if they do it intentionally to making it hard for people to get it and when are they going to issue invitation letter only 14 days are remaining.?

Is there anyone received invitation letter for this month ceremony?
