It makes no difference if you do but as neither of you are applying based on marriage to a British citizen, it is likely not required.

Post by skflavorfeast2020 » Tue May 17, 2022 9:01 pm

Dear Admin/Members,

First of all sorry to ask again question but don't know how to merged topic in previous thread.

We submitted British Naturalisation application on 15 September 2020. However, it has been brought to our attention that we were not eligible to apply at this point in time (10 years will be completed next month), so we were withdraw our application before Bio Metric, after one month HO sent refund into my bank account.

I am filling my application and put all Immigration details, can I put withdrawal application also in the immigration history?

Thanks & Regards

The online form allows for adding additional applicants who satisfy the requirements for the AN application (or MN1 in the case of children). Separate application not required - though each applicant is assessed individually.

Dear respected member thanks. Yes we both satisfy with the requirements for the AN application.

So you said no need to filled separate applications.

Not sure what the reference to 10 years is - you have ILR? I am not familiar with DLR and why there's a 10 year wait for naturalisation. Normally it's a 12 months wait after ILR.

Thank you sir. Before 1 Jun 2012 we have had some gape in between our case (We got DLR on 6 years route), someone said this treated absent and you will apply after completion of 10 years (Good Character), that's why we have been waiting from ILR time which was Sep 2018.

Thanks

Thanks for the clarification - best to apply 2 June - I always recommend not to apply on the first date available, take your time and get the application right.

IDV App or UKVCAS

Post by skflavorfeast2020 » Wed Jun 01, 2022 8:42 am

Dear respected Admin and members,

First of all thanks to all the respected members on this forum, I completed my group application (husband and wife) with the help of all of you.

I will do the application on 2nd Jun. My question is how can we take pictures on both the applicant on IDV? Is their any option for 2 or I can use UKVCAS system instead of IDV? If I do IDV can we still need biometric or just face ID.

If any respected members have proper procedure or video please share with me. I will be very grateful.

Thanks & Regards,

You are getting ahead of yourself. About a week after you have applied, the Home Office will let you know wether you can supply pictures via the app, or wether you have to take a biometrics appointment. Before that, you cannot do anything: you cannot book biometrics appointment, and you cannot use the app. You need to wait for their confirmation on which route you need to take, it is not up to you to choose.

So just apply and wait for the Home Office email (it will come about 7-10 days after paying online). Then when you know which route you need to go, come back and ask any questions you may have.
My posts express what I believe are the facts, based on the best of my knowledge, about the topics discussed in this forum. They do not constitute immigration advice.
