I’m in the same boat. I got the approval on 26th April, paid the fee the same day. It still hasn’t been processed and it looks like it’s stuck in the “Submitted” tab on the INIS portal.

It really feels like they are now prioritizing the applications that need to attend the ceremony.
Hey @Nerdanel, any updates on your side of things? Nothing here yet. Just sitting pretty on the "Submitted" bucket still.
No change as well. The application is still in “Submitted “ :-(
Still no update from my end of things. How about you @Nerdanel?

My application is still in the "Submitted" stage. I sent my declaration via registered post on the same day that I paid the fee and saw that their declaration section received it the next day. There's no chance that they lost the forms in their office and think we haven't submitted them, is there?

Yeah, the usual brown envelope with two pink sheets, one being the guest invitation. You need to bring this letter to the ceremony.

No, still no change for me, it's still in the "submitted" stage :-( I sent them another email today as it's exactly 6 weeks since I sent the declaration and paid the fees.

What declaration did you send? I only had to complete the online form and pay the fee.

Because I always get those letters in the afternoon. Strange they deliver letters that early.

Hi all,
It might help if those who have received an invitation could include the date got approval and paid your €950. We might be able to see a pattern on the sending out of the invitations.

Same with me. Paid fee 27/4, sent declaration 27/4 and not a word after that. It’s showing as “submitted “ since then.

Postman do his runs in my street before 7:30am everyday, probably because I live very close to a major post office.

Good to know that there are more people in the same situation at least. It's still frustrating though, hey?

Approval Date: 17.05.2022
Fee paid : 17.05.2022
Email confirming fee processed 7.06.2022
Invitation to 20th June Killarney ceremony received 8.06.2022 (dated 2.06.2022)

Journeys end, now onto the passport application, well after the 20th. Enormous thanks to all on these fora whose experiences helped keep us sane during this laborious process. Good luck to those who remain waiting.

Approval: 15/5/22
Payment: 17/5/22
Payment confirmation email: 22/5/22
Invitation: 8/6/22 (dated 2/6/22).
Ceremony: 20/6/22 at 10am.

So very close to the end of what can only be described as an immensely frustrating process....
