Visa Category for Dependants after ILR

Post by Kannanmony » Sun May 29, 2022 7:47 am

I got ILR on October 2021 after being in TIER 2 General for 5 years.

On March 2021, I applied TIER 2 Dependant for my wife and kid and they stayed with me for six months (the visa got expired on March 2022). Currently they are in India.

As I got settlement now, which visa category should I apply, is it TIER2 Dependant or Family Visa or anything else?

Any info is highly appreciated. Thank you

Spouse and child visa. Your spouse will have to meet the English requirement and you will have to meet the financial requirement.

As the tier 2 dependent visas have expired, she cannot apply for this category again

Thanks for your reply. My wife holds a bachelor degree, is her degree certificate enough to prove the level of English language? Or Is ECCTIS letter required?

Kind regards,

Hi,

I've got the assessment from ECCTIS.

I'm creating an application for Family Visa - Partner/Spouse, but I couldn't find an option to add my daughter as a co-applicant?

Thanks, I created a separate application (Family Visa - Apply as a child) for my daughter. When Im redirected to IHS website, it costs zero (it says Exempt Based On Visa Route). Is it right?

I wasn't expecting for it to consider us exempt from IHS fee. She is 1.8years old. I've Settlement BRP (other than we haven't applied for any fee waiver).
