HSMP approved but can't move within 6 mnths

Folks,

I need some expert advise on this. I have got the HSMP approval dated 19th Apr,05. I am planning for EC before 18th July, 05 and will ask for Visa Entry Date of 18th Oct,05.

The situation is that I am taking maximum possible time (of 6 months) from Date of approval for my VISA start date, but there are chances that I may still not be able to move to UK after that due to some professional reasons.

My query is that is there any way I can request for another HSMP approval or is there any other way to get further delay of few months. I know one option is to apply afresh but any other options or work arounds.

Please advise.

You can re-apply when you are ready to move - though you will have to pay the £335 again

I guess that would be the best of the options available to spread my entry date as long as possible. Since my approval date is 19th apr,05 so i dont think EC date could start beyong 18th Oct,05.

Its right Job which is worrying me and would be delaying the whole case. lets hope for the best

I am IT professional (internet technologies - java,j2ee with 5 yrs exp).. any thoughts abt the ease to get job in UK on HSMP basis ??
