Tier 1 dependent visa extension

Post by Ahsan1995 » Sun Jul 03, 2022 10:23 pm

Hello there,

My wife is due to apply for the extension of her PBS Dependent visa and I have a question regarding the type of form she will be using. I am the main applicant currently with British passport after getting settled via Tier 1 Entrepreneur, 5 year route. Here are the dates:

Main Applicant:
May 2013 - Sep 2016: Tier 1 Ent Main applicant
Sep 2016 - Dec 2018: Tier 1 Ent Extension
Jan 2019 - July 2019 : ILR
May 2022 - Naturalisation

Wife
April2018 - Jan2019 : Wife came into UK on Tier 1 entrepreneur (dependent visa)

Jan 2019 - July 2022 : Extension of PBS dependant visa

Please, under which category will she apply and which application form does she need to complete in order not to reset her ILR qualifying period. Do I still need to apply under Tier 1 Entrepreneur previous extension?

One of my solicitor said that I have to apply through FLR (M) form.. I believe it’s not applicable in this situation..

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The fact that you are a British citizen now is irrelevant.
She extends under the PBS dependant route: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... nt-partner
That solicitor is totally wrong and such a move will cost her ILR clock as there is no need for her to move to the family route

Thanks zimba for your reply

When I am filling in the form there its ask me for HOME OFFICE REFERENCE NO. Or VAF NUMBER as I have British passport now
Where I can find VAF NUMBER?

And secondly it’s ask for STANDARD OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION (SOC) code for my job where I can get that any idea please

Thanks

There is no need to enter a VAF number or any reference number.
Enter an SOC code that is close to what your skills are: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -and-codes

Hi moderators
Can any please help me I have already completed my wife’s application of tier 1 entrepreneur dependent visa extension form
But when I am paying IHS it shows me wrong amount and ask my details
1- it’s asking my visa expiry date which I don’t have I have British passport and Pakistani passport and my Pakistan passport is already expired in April.

2- it’s asking me about my visa type and visa route.

When I put my previous details it increases ihs and it seems its calculating my ihs as well

Can anyone please help

You are required to pay 3 years IHS.

So try putting in details that get you to that number.

You need to choose PBS dependent and Tier 1 entrepreneur.
Since I can't access the online form I can't tell you exactly which options they are.
Put your visa expiry at 3 years from now (it really shouldn't matter)
I have no idea why it calculates your NHS for a dependent application. Make sure you are starting from PBS dependent visa.
