MN1 help

Post by crown21 » Tue May 03, 2022 7:14 pm

Hi,
I am applying for my little one MN1 and have a doubt. He was born in UK six months ago so he doesn’t have a passport or BRP. When the form asks for BRP should I say no or supply my BRP.
Regards

Say no. the questions in the form relate mostly to the applicant, not the parent.
Char (CR001 not Casa)

No ID for child born in UK

Post by crown21 » Wed Jul 06, 2022 9:44 am

Hi,

I am applying for naturalization for my 1 year old born in UK. He doesn't have any national identity document apart from birth certificate. I am confused as the document checklist separately asks for another ID document.
Would this create any problems?

Regards

Children are registered, not naturalised. Look at the guidance:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... 1-guidance

Also, did you have ILR or British citizenship when the child was born?

I have read the guidance for registering the child. My query is the document checklist asks for another ID.
Can I say I just have birth certificate and nothing else.

Thanks, all submitted.
The 6 months period for mn1 begins when form was submitted or after biometrics.
