Hello just rang "them" (HO, Border Agency, whatever they are called) regarding my outstanding Certificate of Application.
I am a non-EU citizen (Australian) with an EU Wife (Hungarian – an A8 country).
My wife has just completed her 12 month WRS.
I have had an FMRS for 12 months (expired the 6th of June 2008).
I have applied for my EEA2 and my wife has applied for EEA1 – we sent the documents together, to the EEA1 address, as advised, June 4th.
Now it has not been too long but no COA yet. So I rang, and they said that if I write a letter in to Croydon stating my name, nationality, and the post office registered mail code then they will issue me a COA.
Not sure if that is generally well known (or even if it will work).
Hope this info helps someone.
I only need it because work is worried blah blah blah
