PCR test required for children travelling to India?

Post by Kopper99 » Tue Jul 12, 2022 4:43 pm

Hi.
My son is 8 years old and has only one dose of the covid vaccine but we are travelling to India in August.
Does he need a PCR test 48 hours before departure?

Yes, NHS does not allow second does before stipulated 12 weeks gap. My daughter (9) travelled last week to india just short of her second dose by 2 days, she had to take a fit to fly RT-PCR 48 hrs prior.
Don't misconstrue my views for professional immigration advice, just trying to give back to a community that helped me through my journey.

WP-> HSMP-> Tier 2G D-> ILR-> BC-> OCI
