Spouse Visa

Post by lomo » Thu Jul 21, 2022 3:10 pm

I have obtained ILR through the long residence route. So my wife needs to change her visa from Tier 2 dependant to spouse visa. people on the forum have advised her to apply for FLR(M) visa. There is no such category on the UKVI website. I could only find the following link.

https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/partner-spouse

Is this the correct link to apply for the spouse visa under FLR(M) category?

Hi I am filling my wife's family visa application for her FLR(M), and I am not sure how to answer the following question. She is currently on the PBS dependant visa. Can someone help. The question is given below.

****
What type of visa, leave to enter or remain or other permission do you have to be in the UK?

You can find out this information on the document which shows you are allowed to be in the UK

-Visit

-Work

-Study

-Family

-Settlement

-Other

Hi,

My wife was issued a penalty of £ 100 from HMRC for not submitting the self-assessment returns on time. Does she have to declare it. I was thinking it should be declared as a "A caution, warning, reprimand or other out-of-court penalty". What do you think? Is it the correct choice and place to mention it. Will this be a cause for a refusal?

At any time have you ever had any of the following, in the UK or in another country?

• A criminal conviction
• A penalty for a driving offence, for example disqualification for speeding or no motor insurance
• An arrest or charge for which you are currently on, or awaiting trial
• A caution, warning, reprimand or other out-of-court penalty
• A civil court judgment against you, for example for non payment of debt, bankruptcy proceedings or anti-social behaviour
• A civil penalty issued under UK immigration law
