Split last name into middle and last name for British Passport

Hi all,

I've just got my naturalisation and the full name in the certificate reads "*FirstSurname SecondSurname* FirstName". This is in the same format as my Indian passport where the Surname is "FirstSurname SecondSurname" and Given name(s) is "FirstName". SecondSurname is actually my middle name but Indian passport doesn't have a separate section for middle name hence that was merged into my last name. Now I'd like to correct that.

My question is

• While applying for my British passport can I make "SecondSurname" as my middle name? I.e., I'd like to have "FirstSurname" as the surname and "SecondSurname" as the middle name.

• Will the above have any issues when I later apply for OCI ?
