BRP expiring and British Citizenship

Post by GrahamD85 » Tue Aug 09, 2022 7:41 am

Hi,

Can you apply for British Citizenship if the BRP you’re including with the application expires a few weeks after you’ve made the application? Does the BRP have to be valid the whole time the application is considered or does it not matter?

Thanks,

G

Note that a BRP card is your evidence of status ("Indefinite") - the expiry date on the card is the card expiry, not status expiry - note it's called "Indefinite".
