Yea, Payment wasn't initially required as status was "exempt" from IHS payment at time of application although i was issued a IHS number. It was a bit of a surprise and i retried severally but status remained "exempt" so assumed it had to be correct. Would be nice if they'd at least say what's causing the delay.

Hi, if you don’t mind, could you share when the application was escalated (date) and how many days after this, you got contacted by UKVI? And when was the second escalation made? Thanks
Escalated 5th July and then a month later. Was contacted 10 days after 1st escalation. Did the escalation team contact you at all?

Ok thanks. So contact was after 10 days after 1st escalation.
No update/ questions yet unfortunately - It’s been 10 working days now (escalated on 25/07/2022)

Update - 08/08/2022

“Due to the current ongoing situation in the Ukraine, the Home Office have had to refocus considerable resources to aid with the humanitarian crisis. Given this, we are unable to provide any definitive timescales for considering applications, however please be advised that we will process your application as soon as is possible in the circumstances.

Having looked at your application I can see it is out of SLA, so I have escalated your email to the case working team and asked if it is possible to progress your application. Thank you for your patience.”

This is so frustrating having waited all this time since 04/02/2022 (biometrics) holding up our lives and away from each other and UKVI cannot sort this issue having had this much time to deal with on going issues. Anyone else applied in February still waiting?

Try contacting the visa application centre im assuming that’s Gerry’s or go there. I think they sent you a generic email response that they do after a few emails. Inshallah your passport should be ready

A lot like you.
Had Biometrics collected 18th January 2022 and still waiting.
On my 2nd escalation already; Received a link to make IHS payment after 1st escalation (not sure if that was a coincidence)
Not sure what else to do.
Hi, Received any updates?
