Irish tourist C visa

Post by toby2020 » Fri Aug 12, 2022 9:37 pm

Hi,

My wife and i plan to go to her home country in Asia in feb23, we live in Northern Ireland and she has pre-settled status,

We have been looking at flights and flights out of Dublin are so much cheaper with better connection times then going to london,

I know she will need a tourist visa to travel out of and returning to Dublin, anybody know how how far in advance she can apply for the visa? could she apply for it now even though the flight is 6 months away?

Also just want to confirm that their is no fee for the visa if she is married to an Irish citizen?

Cheers guys

She can apply for a tourist visa 3 months before her intended date to enter Rep of Ireland.
And yes there is no fee for spouses of Irish nationals.
