IELTS Academic vs IELTS UKVI Academic

Hello,

I will be applying for the UK Skilled Worker visa and in order to satisfy the language requirement, I have mistakenly booked IELTS Academic with British Council. I have now realized that I should have booked IELTS UKVI Academic.

Can someone comment if simple IELTS Academic from British Council will be acceptable to UKVI or does it have to be IELTS Academic UKVI?

The UKVI prefers the UKVI version.

The Academic for UKVI test is the same as the Academic test in terms of content, format, scoring and the level of difficulty. However, the UKVI test is only available at test centres who meet the administrative requirements outlined by the UK Home Office. Your Test Report Form (TRF) will also look slightly different if you take a IELTS for UKVI test.
