What is the date of naturalisation of British Citizenship? Is it the date of the approval from UKVI or the date of your citizenship ceremony?

I understand that part - so is the date of someone becoming a british citizen the date of their ceremony then? And then the certificate has the date of the ceremony?

Date you are a British citizen is from date of ceremony which is also stated on the certificate (I checked mine just now to make sure).
