I applied for the extension of my skilled worker visa here inside the UK last 9/8/2022. I am a nurse working for the NHS.
The last email I got from the Home Office was a confirmation of evidence sent.
The email also said to wait for a decision.
It's been more or less 3 weeks since I applied for the extension and have not heard anything from the Home Office.
I'm quite worried because my Visa is about to expire this coming 25/9/2022.
I applied for an extension late because the hospital I work for issued the new CoS 2 months late.
Is my Visa still valid if the decision does not arrive by the 25th? Both me and my wife are worried as her Visa is also expiring on the same date as mine and we are both working in the hospital.
Is there any email address or a phone number to call for any updates?
Thank you.
There should not be any problem as long as you apply online before your current leave expires. Your wife also needs to apply before the expiration date on her permit. If you both have the same date, it's reasonable to apply at the same time.themalern wrote: ↑Sat Sep 03, 2022 11:25 amI'm quite worried because my Visa is about to expire this coming 25/9/2022.

An out of the country application is different, different requirements, etc. OP is applying for a SWV extension.I applied from outside the UK and did my biometric on 13th July.
