Good character start date

Hi hopefully some one will help with the date of good character start as I was an overstayer .
I got married with EU wife in July 2012
Got my residence card on October 2012 but only printed on a paper as some how they lost the passport so I had to sent it back so they can print it on passport.
Got it back on my passport July 2013 when new issue date starting July 2013 .
Do I count from the first issue of residence card or second ?

They will look at immigration for the last 10 years from what I know. Double check on the good character guide.

Your legal status in the UK starts from the date of marriage to your EU spouse, assuming you married in the Registry office.
