So I have crossed the within six months limit for a decision and started chasing the HO. Sent an email on 11/08/22 to further nationality enquiries and got an automated response stating they aim to respond within 20 working days. Feeling extremely worried and frustrated.
Update:
About a week after my email I received a generic reply from HO stating that they'll provide a decision as soon as they can. At the same time I contacted the MP and he said that all applications are taking longer than usual and that even mp enquiries are not getting any prompt response from the HO, therefore I will have to wait sometime before he can offer me any updates.
16/09/2022:
I received an email from the MP, which states that my application for naturalisation has been approved on 13th September 2022.
His enquiry outcome reads
"
Mr A’s application for naturalisation was approved on 13 September 2022. Once he has attended his citizenship ceremony his application will be complete."
But to date I have not received any approval email nor ceremony invitation email from home office. Without such how can I attend the citizenship ceremony. Although I'm feeling happy but a bit confused aswell as I'm not understanding what to do. I hope someone can offer me some insights. Thanks and best wishes for all.
