Any updates on when homeoffice delays be over

Post by Angel_86 » Sat Jul 09, 2022 2:59 pm

Hi everyone. My fiancee has his biometrics on Monday in Saudia Arabia. Just a quick question i wanted to ask,
How long will these homeoffice delays last for? I suffer from medical issues and me and our kids really need him here, 24 weeks is a very long wait.
Thank you in advance

No one can give an answer to the question asked as not one work for the HO. Information shared is based on reading guidance experience and feedback from applicants/monitoring trends.

Request for documents happens frequently and is no pointer to what the decision will be. Documents may be corrupted or CW unable to find them or any of a myriads of reasons known to HO and her personnel.
Endeavour to send all requested documents within the stated time. Good luck.

Just a quick Question, after the request of documents how long do they take for them to make a decision, on the homeoffice info it says in 10 days, Can it be earlier?
Thank you

Not sure if you understood it right; you usually have to provide documents from your side within 10 days, otherwise they won't be processing the application further/etc and the decision timeframe is unknown. I might be wrong, but if you can show where you got 10 days, it would be easier to clear this up.

For sure the 10 days is the number of days within which you are expected to provide to HO the requested documents.
No one can tell you how long it takes after you provide your document to get decision on application.
There is no crystal ball for anyone to gaze into HO affairs, patience is what you will exercise.
PS: Hope you supplied the requested documents within 10days.

It is not them giving you a timeframe when it's getting processed.
What they're saying is "we will wait for 10 working days so you can get your documents send to us". When they got the documents (or after 10 working days, we don't know how HO works), they'll continue processing and there's no time frame on that.

Hi everyone. I got a email today stating they havnt recieved the documents theyve requested last week but i did send them the very same day.
Ive resent the documents today but the difference is this time ive scanned them and sent them all together as 1 attachment do you think that will be ok?

Do you think that was the reason they never got them because i never scanned them,
i took pics the last time and sent them.
Thank you in advance
