People travelling UK in Jan 09

Hi All

I am starting this thread intended to bring people in touch, who are travelling or planning to travel to UK in jan 09.
I am planning to travel around 20th jan 09 from India, if anyone also planing at the same time probably we can plan together if possible, I think that would be helpful.
As people suggested me to stay few miles away from london as london is quite expensive... I am looking for accomodation somewhere around london. Please advice me places near london and ways to find accomodation quickly so I can save myself from spending in hotel.
If anyone is also looking somewhere near london we might as well share...

Its a good thought sonicvic, infact I was planning to start such a thread.

I am planning to apply in Dec 08 and thereafter plan my travel about it.
