Post by Justin Jose A » Fri Nov 21, 2008 5:27 am

Hi All,

I have to get a letter from the university stating that the medium of instruction was in english. But, I fear does Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka gives the same .

Have anyone in this forum applied and got throught it ???

if yes, please help me out ??

If the University doesn't provide, is it enough if I get the same from my graduation college ?

Hey,

Is it really needed - when the university is already listed in the BIA self assessment tool?

Can any one confirm??

Thanks

Yes,They will give you 'Medium of Istruction was in English' letter.
Two solutions :One is
1.you need to take a dd of 150/-(forgot and am not sure about the exact amount) favor of Registrar,VTU,belgaum.
2.write a cover letter to VTU stating that you need the above letter by mentioning your university number, college name and Branch.
3.Also attach copy of convocation of your degree.
4.courier them to Belgaum office and inform to exam section in Belgaum office that you have couriered it.
5.Last point is you need to mention your residence address in the covel letter,so that they will courier to that address only.

second one is:
No need of collecting/applying for the letter,as VTU name is available in Pointsbasd calculator.
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/pointscalculator
so you will score 10 points if your university name is there in the database.

It takes 7-10days to receive the letter by courier.
univerisy phone numbers are avilable at www.vtu.ac.in
