Can i apply for POST DATED Visa?

I need to give 3 months notice period to my employer before leaving to UK. Can i apply for post dated visa? If yes then where to write in VAF9?

Yes you can. I got a post dated visa (2 months) when I applied.
I requested the visa to be post dated in my cover letter. I put the request in bold font and red letters.

dear Vijay/ I posted the same question to UKVISAS and tey responded to that by saying that Yes you can request for post dated visa and it can be post dated for a maximum of 3 months. Best of luck

Max 3 months as another poster has said.

First thing you fill on the form is - When do you want to enter?

There you can mention Date.
