Does Priority Service mean faster BRP delivery?

Post by melorabi » Wed Oct 19, 2022 10:54 am

Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of changing employers and haven't submitted anything yet, and was checking how can I speed the whole process.
I understand we can use the Priority Service to get faster decision on the application, but would this affect the BRP delivery as well? or do we need to purchase another priority service for that?
Thanks!

BRPs are delivered within 10 working days after approval. There is nothing you can do to speed up the BRP delivery process.

Priority service applies only to the UKVI review and approval/refusal process.

Thank you for your prompt reply!
I can see many people mentioning huge delays in getting their BRPs delivered after they had the decision part done. Anyway of avoiding that? or it's gonna be up to my pure luck only?
Thanks again!

There's no a priority service for BRP deliveries.

As you pointed out, there are delays at every level with immigration processes (applications/decisions, biometric appointments, BRP deliveries, etc). Even paying a priority (or super-priority) service when submitting your application these days is not a guarantee you will avoid this.

Your new employer needs to be aware of the current situation.
