Child British citizenship -MN1- Question

Could you please advise on this following MN1- Question.
My son born outside of the UK who is 15 years old.
We (both parents) got British Citizenship via naturalisation.
Now I am trying to file the MN1 form.
So, in these options, which one is suitable? Last one?
Choose which category to apply under. You are a child under 18 and:(Required)
• You were born in the UK
• You were born outside the UK
• Your parent is British by descent and lived in the UK or a British Overseas territory for at least 3 years before you were born
• Your parent is British by descent and you and your parents (unless they are legally separated) are now living in the UK or a British Overseas territory
• You were born on or after 13 January 2010 and your parent was serving in the UK armed forces
• You were adopted abroad by British citizen parents
• You were born before 1 July 2006 to a British father and your parents were not married
• One or both of your parents is applying for British citizenship

Also, could you please advise on the referees as well.
Two university lecturers agreed to act as a referee for my son British Citizen Application.
Is it OK for this?
I did not have any my sons teachers/GP reference.

As far as they know the child (and at least one of the is British) that will be OK.

My son's both referees are British Citizens and One is Professor and one second one is a Researcher at UK universities.
Are these are OK to act is a referees?

A university lecturer or up will be OK. I will be using a university lecturer as my professional referee.

What about university researcher?
Researcher is above level of lecturer.
Please advise.

It depends. In my university a "researcher contract" is not above a lecturer. Professor is above lecturer, therefore it will be OK. Don't overthink the process. You only need one professional referee. As long as the researcher is over 25 and British you are fulfilling the requirements.

Are either of the parents of the child (as stated in this application) applying for naturalisation as a British citizen on an AN form?
I believe it is NO-
Because we (both parents) already got the citizenship a while ago.

What I can do now? How can we proceed this?

Other referee should be extremely sick to not be able to sign. Have you suggested going over to the house for a wet signature?

Application wouldn't fly without one. You would be requested for an alternative referee from the HO. Application might now be slightly delayed because of this development.

I can't be modify any more.
How can I submit this new referee details and form?
What is HO?
