MN1 Enquiry for duaghter

Post by Rockey » Tue Nov 01, 2022 5:01 pm

Hi Everyone ! Hope you all are doing well-
I have come back after long time !This forum has been wonderful for me since a long time ! much appreciated! I got some queries if any can help me in this regard will highly be obliged!

Details: i am British citizen since 2020 , my wife , my son (age 16) and my daughter (age 12) have been living here as dependent visa (last visa is FLR (M) will expire in May 2023 ! on top of that their 10 Year long residence will be completed in April 2023 so ultimately all will be applying for ILR in April 2023! my both children have never been to back home since last 9.5 years!

I want to apply directly for Citizenship this month by filling up form MN1! (reason my friend applied with same age with same condition they got approval, the did not apply for Indefinite)

So MY Query is: Is that ok to apply for both for citizenship through MN1 online application form? or they must have to go through to ILR process!?
Best Regards

HI,

Does anyone know! as i need two referee , asking one refferee should be Where the applicant is a child applying, one referee should be a professional who
has engaged with the child in a professional capacity, such as a teacher, health
visitor, social worker or minister of religion.!!
For an adult application, one referee should be a person of any nationality who has
professional standing, eg minister of religion, civil servant, or a member of a
professional body e.g. accountant or solicitor (who is not representing you with this
application).
For all applications, the second referee must normally be the holder of a British
citizen passport and either a professional person or over the age of 25!!

Is it ok one refferee is just british citizen
and other is Accountant plus british citizen ?
Best Regards

Can be British or not, it doesn't matter.

Doesn't have to work, just needs to be at least 25 years.

You just did this 2 years ago, you should know these things.

FYI, Home Office aren't fussy about kids. So if you find someone that fits the criteria but doesn't personally know the kids, it would still be fine.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
