Re: ILR- not sure the best time to apply

Hello, sorry it’s me again.
I was looking through the documents check list of a friend (same visa routes).
Could anyone please advise for the evidences to provide for:

1. Letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for work related absences including period of paid leave from UK for the applicant.

In my case, I need to provide a letter from my current employer regarding my absences with them right (as per the previous advises)?

2. Other evidence of applicant’s reasons for absences from UK.

Should I use flight tickets? And it should be just the absences with my current employer?

3. Evidence of applicant’s immigration status in UK.

I’m on skilled worker visa, should I just use BRP for this?

Many apologies for too many questions and many thanks for your help in advance.

I’ve been advised by HR to apply sooner for my ILR.

My Tier 2 visa issue day was 30 Jan 2018.
5 years (-) 28 days will be 2nd Jan 2023
Skilled worker visa expires 21st Dec 2022.

I was planning to apply 2 days before 21st Dec 2022 and I’ve been advised to apply earlier around 10-13 Dec 2022.

I’m not sure what to do now, as I’m worried it will compromise my application so just thought to check using this forum.

Will applying 52/53 days earlier before the 5 year period affect my application? I’m planning to go to biometrics after 2nd Jan 2023 thou.

Also, for the question ‘Date you first entered the UK’, is it the date I first enter with Tier 4 student visa in September 2016?

Any advice would be much appreciated please.

Many thanks in advance.

Apply within 28days to complete 5years.

Date on which the 5year period for your ILR application is based
Any advice would be much appreciated please.

Many thanks in advance.

Been advised to check my application with home office.

Apply within 28days to complete 5years.

Does that mean I apply a week/ 10days before my visa expires and go to biometric appointment within the 28 days?

Also, for the question ‘Date you first entered the UK’, is it the date I first enter with Tier 4 student visa in September 2016?
Date on which the 5year period for your ILR application is based

Means my tier 2 visa issued date?

Any advice would be much appreciated please.

Many thanks in advance.

Means my tier 2 visa issued date? Correct as this is when the period of your 5years towards ilr is based I presume.

Any advice would be much appreciated please.

Many thanks in advance.

I will just apply for ILR a week before my current visa expires, and attend biometric within the 28 days period, if that’s okay.

For date first entered the UK, I think I’ll include my first Tier 2 issued date.

It shouldn’t be much of a problem right?
